Frequently Asked Questions
If I want
to get married, have a funeral, or baby dedication etc. how do I
arrange that?
The process is quite
easy. You need to speak to the Church Secretary so she can
double-check dates in the Church calendar to make sure there are no
other events that conflict with the date you want. A time will then
be arranged with the Lead Pastor, either to make funeral
arrangements, pre-marital counseling (which is mandatory to be
married at Broadway with our Lead Pastor doing the ceremony) or to
set up a baby dedication.
If I want
to become involved in a Ministry, how do I do it?
You will need to
contact the church office about the area you would like to be
involved in. We will then give that information to the person
overseeing that ministry. They will then contact with you to discuss
your involvement and any requirements that there may be. Attendance
at weekly programs and services is open to everyone.
How
do I become a member?
If you have
regularly attended Broadway for 6 months then you can apply for
voting membership. There is a membership application that can be
picked up at the church office, which outlines the qualifications
that need to be met in order to become a member. The application is
then taken to our Church Board for approval. Finally, membership
entitles you to voting privileges at our Annual Business meeting.
Attendance at weekly programs and services is open to everyone.
